Hydra Armor Kagura

I've had this idea dancing around in my head for a while. Kirby Air Ride's best machine, re-imagined into battle armor.

I got a page of Kagura expressions cooking up, but I've been slacking off on it partially due to having an itch to draw a full body shot of her.

From listening to my mp3 player for too long, I've had daydreams of her donning the armor and beating the shit out of bad guys at the climax of a song, so today I figured I'd just do a light sketch of it to get the concept across... then I decided to lightly color it... and then I got heavier with the colors and just decided to have the colored pencils handle the outlines too.

This is the first time I've ever truly done that and I can say the result came out a lot fresher than I anticipated.
I don't know if I'll have the energy to incorporate it in an action segment though, but i'm just so happy I conveyed it all this good.
